Pattern Recognition Energy Saving System (PRESS)

PRESS (Pattern Recognition Energy Saving System) utilises CCTV cameras and pattern recognition software with electronic device to control lighting and air-conditioning. When the area is detected as unoccupied, lighting and air-conditioning will be turned off without a need to install additional detecting devices, so as to reduce energy consumption.

PRESS also provides smart surveillance for enhanced monitoring in indoor and outdoor environment. For example, when there is abnormal behaviour being detected, auto-alert message will pop up to notify the respective staff to respond to the situation and take appropriate actions. This enhances monitoring the safety of the area. PRESS is adopted in common area.
